Born in 1951 and raised in São Paulo, guitarist singer and songwriter Everaldo Marcial fled the Brasilian dictatorship in 1974 to settle in France.
He recored his one and only album Canto Aberto in Paris in1979 before leaving for the US in the early 1980s.
